Mittelstand companies attending SPS are the backbone of industry. However, these companies have seen their growth challenged by global competition from emerging economies. But today, the industry 4.0 revolution offers an opportunity for Mittelstand companies to differentiate by innovating.
We at Canonical, are on a mission to empower innovators with open-source software. We endeavor to be a technology partner of big corporations as well as SMEs, in their journey to industry 4.0 transformation. For this purpose, we have made the latest and greatest embedded and IoT technologies ready for deployment by Mittelstand innovators.
Ubuntu Core is increasingly chosen by leading IPC OEMs for reasons pertaining to security and long term support. Furthermore, snap application containers make it easy to deploy IoT platforms on edge gateways to move sensor data to public or private clouds. What’s more, we are experts in training and enabling organisations to deploy AI at the edge.
Disruptive innovation is coming to automation, and Canonical is proud to be part of this change. We will be making a big announcement with a leading global automation company for a platform – built on Ubuntu Core – that will reinvent automation in the digital age. In the meantime, we will be welcoming visitors to our booth to showcase our portfolio of cutting edge products. Don’t miss out on innovation, come visit our booth.
